- Join a small group that meets once or twice monthly for fellowship, study, and prayer

- Attend one of our many weekly Bible study options

- Find a CPC ministry where you can use your gifts to serve others

How do I figure out if CPC should be my church home?

Foundations is the place to start!    Foundations is our introductory class where you find out who we are and what we believe at CPC.  The class runs on a recurring eight week cycle. The first six weeks are classes, the seventh week those interested in joining meet with an elder, and the eighth week is Joining Day!  If you miss a class during one cycle, you can just pick it up the next go round.

Week one starts with "What We Believe About The Gospel" and is taught by our Senior Pastor, Wilson Benton.  Wilson outlines the two components of Gospel salvation by teaching on "Saving Faith" and "True Repentance" during weeks one and two of the cycle.  Pastor Todd Teller then teaches the next two to three weeks on the Sovereignty of God and Presbyterian doctrines specifically.  We also look at the two sacraments of infant baptism and the Lord's supper.  Lastly, we cover church governent, the history of CPC, and ministry opportunites for both being served and serving others.   A recent note from a new member stated “we’ve never been in a church where we were received and loved as well as through the membership process of CPC.”

New members complete a ministry interest survey and indicate where they feel drawn to serve at Christ Pres.   We encourage all members to find ways to plug into at least one of the ministry opportunities here at CPC.  We offer assistance by resourcing new members into the ministry of their choice, connecting them with a person in that ministry. New members are encouraged to serve in any area of our ministry – from nursery rotation to teaching or serving children, from cooking and cleaning to planning events of the church, from ushering to stuffing bulletins, from Stephen Ministry to Moms & More, from loving other cultures to loving those confined at home or in nursing facilities, from serving in Belize and Ukraine to serving right here in the Nashville area. Opportunities abound to serve Christ through CPC!

Next Foundations Cycle runs February 28th through April 18th -- Join Us!!!
