HEART FOR CHILDREN
ADOPTION MINISTRY
Heart for Children is a new ministry at Christ Prebyterian Church.
This ministry will provide the following services:
• Gathering and providing information to those who are considering adoption
• Being advocates of the adoption process
• Providing an arena for fellowship among adult adoptees, adopting parents and their children
• Providing prayer and emotional support
• Linking couples and individuals who have previously adopted or have been adopted to serve as mentors for persons considering adoption.
To help identify those who may have an interest in this ministry we have designed a brief questionnaire. Whether you have been adopted, are beginning the adoption process, or are raising or have raised adopted children, we ask that you complete as much of the questionnaire as applies to you and return it to Mary Sue Curtis at the Shepherding Center of Christ Pres or by e-mail to mcurtis@christpres.org. As we begin to gather information, we will contact those who express an interest in this ministry – the “Heart for Children Ministry.” Our prayer is that this ministry will be a Christ-like example of serving God by serving others.
