In prayer we have the opportunity and privilege to talk to God,
our Creator and Redeemer.

If you have an urgent prayer request and want us to pray with you,
call our church office at 615-373-2311 or visit with our elders Sunday morning after worship.

Use this guide of ways to begin praise adn pray to the Lord, with Biblical references listed.

• We praise Him for Who He is and what He has done (Psalm 113:1-3, Psalm 147:1, Psalm 146:1-2).

• We pray for forgiveness of sin (I John 1:9).

• We pray for our families and friends, for ourselves and even for strangers (I Timothy 2:1-2, Ephesians 6:18).

• We pray when we are troubled (Psalm 5:1-3).

• We pray when we are anxious (I Peter 5:17).

• We pray for healing of the sick (James 5:13-16).

• We pray because we know He hears us (I John 5:14-15).
