Very Special Bible School is a VBS for kids and adults with special needs, and their siblings. Every year, this special experience provides these families opportunities to have fun and learn about the Lord in a loving and uplifting environment.

Our theme for VsBS 2026 is Anchored! Our theme verse is Hebrews 6:19 (ESV): "We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain." Join us as we learn more about how Jesus is the Anchor of our hope, hearts, and souls!

Volunteer Training Session

June 7 from 2-3:30 p.m.

VsBS is an amazing opportunity to serve and care for our families with adults and children with special needs! From being a buddy to helping with stations, there are plenty of ways to serve. Sign up using the form below and join us on Sunday afternoon, June 7, for a training session that will help equip you to join us in serving our special friends.

Plus, we also need help decorating for VsBS–join us for a swell time as we transform the hallways! Serve slots will be at the end of May and early June. Find all slots and sign up here.

What is the Difference Between VsBS and VBS?

VsBS stands for Very Special Bible School and VBS is Vacation Bible School. The difference? VsBS is simply VERY special! Our friends with special needs can have needs that make it more difficult to enjoy the environment of VBS. VsBS is a modified version of VBS that provides the same great Bible lessons and fun, while being a safe and comfortable environment for our friends with special needs and their siblings.

Special Needs Summer Dance

Friday, June 5 at 5:30 p.m.

Our Summer Dance is an annual, super-fun evening where our families with chidren and adults with special needs get a chance to fellowship, eat, and dance the night away!
