To Us a Child is Born

The people of God had a long history of wandering away from God. Inevitably their wandering hearts would lead them to find themselves oppressed by their enemies crying out, “God, save us!” But more than someone who would deliver them from their enemy, they needed someone who would save them from their sin. Someone who could capture their wandering hearts once and for all. They needed a Savior. The Savior had arrived.
