When God Weeps

This sermon helps us process the violent current events, internationally and domestically in light of the story of God. We live in a culture of death. This is the context in which we now live and it causes us to question the nature and character of God. As we see in John, in the story of the death of Lazarus, Jesus teaches there are imperatives when we suffer that are relevant today: feel deeply, get angry and fight hard.
