Game Day Chili Cook-Off

The Fourth Annual Cool Springs Chili Cookoff and Big Game Football Watch Party is February 9! Join us to watch the game and enjoy some homemade chili, or submit chili for the cook-off. Please also bring canned soup to donate to GraceWorks Ministries! This is the time of year GraceWorks is most in need of food donations. It’s a SOUP-er Bowl Party!

Here are all the details you need to know:

What to Bring:

Last Names A–M bring sides (chips, cornbread, cheese, sour cream, etc)

Last Names N–Z bring desserts (please label if it contains nuts)

Chili Cook Off Entries:

Bring a slow cooker or pot of chili to enter! Arrive at 5PM and check in at the welcome desk to receive your chili’s entry number. There are 3 categories: nontraditional (vegetarian, chicken, white chili, etc), spiciest, and overall. Judging will begin promptly at 5:15. Winners will be announced before halftime.

For the Kids:

There will be non-spicy kid-friendly chili available! We will also have some short tables for kids and some coloring pages. We will not show the halftime show in the sanctuary!

But what if I want to watch the halftime show?

The halftime show will be shown in Room 108 for those who are interested in watching it.

I really like football. Will I actually be able to watch the game?

Yes! We will have the game playing on the screens in the sanctuary, but we will also have our TV on the cart set up in the corner for those who are very invested in the football.
