SUMMARY:Christ Pres Leadership Development Training
DESCRIPTION:Christ Pres’ Leadership Development Training begins mid-January. This training is required for all elder\, deacon\, and deaconess nominees\, although all adults are welcome to attend! This training cycle will be different from years past in that it will largely be self-guided with video supplements; however\, there will be monthly Saturday morning gathering/lectures (breakfast provided) that the participants will be required to attend. The first gathering will be on January 18 at 8:00 a.m. at the Old Hickory Blvd campus. The Saturday sessions are scheduled as follows\, all at 8:00 a.m.: \n\nJanuary 18\nFebruary 15\nMarch 22\nApril 26\nMay 17\n\nThe required reading will mostly center around The Truths We Confess\, by R.C. Sproul\, and the Presbyterian Church in America’s Book of Church Order. You may want to obtain these materials and get a head start on the reading. \nIf you would like to attend the training\, please sign up here no later than January 10\, 2025.
