DESCRIPTION:Join us for Lessons & Carols services at 4:30 and 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve! \n“Lessons and Carols” is a traditional service celebrated by churches throughout time and across the globe. It began in the late 1800s in the Cathedral of Turo in the UK\, and was later performed regularly at Kings College in Cambridge beginning in 1918. There are seven lessons from Scripture\, leading us from Isaiah’s prophecy of the Messiah’s birth to the annunciation to the visit of the magi. Carols are sung by the congregation in response to each lesson. \nNursery for ages 2 and under will be available.

DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year when Christ Pres joins churches across Nashville to serve our neighbors without homes through the Room in the Inn winter shelter program. Now in our 14th year\, Christ Pres will again provide meals\, fellowship\, overnight lodging\, and the love of Christ on ten Sunday nights between November and March. Volunteers from all three worship locations are invited to serve at our Old Hickory Blvd site\, with opportunities ranging from cooking and hospitality to devotional leadership\, overnight hosting\, and more. DESCRIPTION:We’re hosting a week of Galentine’s-style dinners designed to help women in our congregation connect\, celebrate one another\, and build new relationships. Each evening will be hosted by one woman and held at a local restaurant. Attendees will sign up for a specific night and restaurant\, then show up ready to “blind date” with other women they may not know yet. \nThe heart behind this is simple: create low-pressure\, joyful spaces where women feel welcomed\, seen\, and connected.
