Melanie Rainer

Melanie joined the staff of Christ Presbyterian Church in August 2019. She and her husband, Price, along with their three children, have been members of the church since 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Belmont University and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. Melanie loves walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges and pointing them to the hope found in Jesus Christ. She enjoys teaching Scripture, building relationships within the church community, and serving others in the name of Jesus. her favorite verse is Isaiah 35:10 (ESV):

“And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
