SUMMARY:Sunday School Open House
DESCRIPTION:Christ Presbyterian Church is excited to invite you to our first-ever Sunday School Open House! Sunday School groups will refrain from meeting that morning and instead\, everyone is invited to attend our Open House immediately following the 9:00 a.m. worship service. We’ll remain in the Sanctuary as we present all about what’s happening in the life of our church and what our Sunday School groups have to offer. You’ll get to hear about what group offerings are available for adults\, our friends with special needs of all ages\, youth (grades 6-12; formerly “students”)\, and kids (ages 0 through 5th grade). Afterward\, we invite you out to the Breezeway\, where ministry tables will be set up for you to learn more and get connected. And\, of course\, we couldn’t have an open house without coffee and donuts! \nDuring the Open House presentation\, nursery will be available. All other children will join us in the Sanctuary and materials for them will be available.

DESCRIPTION:The Ascent is a group that meets twice a month on Sunday evenings with a time of fellowship\, amazing worship\, a fun activity\, and a message geared toward adults with special needs. Join us on August 24 for our Kick Off\, where we’ll have dinner and share more about the exciting plans for the upcoming year. \nWe’d also love you to consider volunteering with us. You can serve by helping provide the meal\, or coming to spend time getting to know our friends with special needs. \n*Christ Presbyterian Church will host The Ascent on the 4th Sunday of the month. West End Community Church will host The Ascent on the 2nd Sunday of the month. They have a number of serving opportunities you can select from.
