What to Expect

Check-In

Kids Ministry check-in is located on the second floor of Fondren Hall. There will be signs and volunteers that show you where to go. When you arrive, we will ask that you fill out a visitor form, then you will be shown to your child's classroom.

 

Please feel free to pre-register your child here if you are visiting us for the first time!

Birth - Five Years

We offer Nursery Care & classes for kids six weeks through five years old during the worship service. 

 

All of our Kids Ministry is Gospel-centered, relationally minded, and focused on safety and security.

K - 5th Grade

Our kids from Kindergarten - third grade start in the worship service, attend separate teaching that is geared towards their age group during the sermon, and return to the worship service in time for communion. Fourth and fifth graders are invited to join the rest of our church body for the worship service. Resources are available weekly to help them follow along with the sermon!

Kids Ministry FAQs

Birth-PreK: For our younger children we use The Foundations of God's Word for Young Children. We are walking through Bible stories from the beginning to the end, hearing the story told in an engaging way, and practicing Catechism questions.
Kindergarten-3rd Grade: We use The Biggest Story for our classroom curriculum for Elementary students.

Serve in Kids Ministry

As we baptize children, our church family takes a vow to support the parents in raising each child and closes with a prayer committing to tell the children the promises of God until they make it their own. In keeping with this vow, we ask every church member to serve in the kids ministry if you aren't serving elsewhere.
