Jesus Welcomes Sinners

The Gospel of Luke tells us the tax collectors and sinners found Jesus irresistible. They were always drawing near to him. Why is this so scandalous? Tax collectors were typically society’s outcasts; they were despised and resented. To understand sinners, we must understand what sin really is.
