A group of bewildered apostles stood gazing toward heaven as their Savior ascended from their sight. Jesus charged them with spreading the gospel to the earth’s four corners and starting the Church as we know it. How did they do it? The book of Acts details the Church’s early frontier as the apostles went from bewildered to empowered by the Holy Spirit—and the Church went out. Join pastors David Filson and Lee Eric Fesko as they walk us through the earliest years of the Christian Church in The Acts of the Apostles and how those acts give us definition, meaning, and structure for the Church of today. We’ll meet every Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall beginning January 22.
