Parenting in the digital world brings both incredible opportunities and new challenges. How do we wisely shepherd our children’s hearts when screens and devices are constant companions? At this month’s Reformed Parent Fellowship, we’ll explore what it means to disciple the next generation in an age shaped by technology.

Join us as we hear from Kyle Cruze, LMFT, on October 19 at 6:30 p.m. Kyle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep passion for helping adolescents and their families navigate the challenges of today’s culture with wisdom and grace. Drawing from years of experience in both private practice and residential treatment, he brings steadied wisdom into the ever-changing world of technology, addiction, and family dynamics.

Grounded in a Christian worldview, Kyle approaches topics with authenticity and compassion, meeting people wherever they are on their journey. Parents will be encouraged and equipped with practical wisdom for discipling the next generation in an age of technology. Because parenting with technology is too big for any one family alone, we’ll explore how conversation, conviction, and community create the flourishing our kids need to thrive.

Why is there no childcare, you might ask? In a world in which most of our day is spent caring for and connecting with our children, we want to encourage parents to make the time to care and connect with one another. It is the very best thing we can do for our children! Not worrying about rushing home to get kids to bed allows couples the time to linger and visit with others as well. If you are having difficulty finding childcare or need financial assistance, please reach out to kids@christpres.org. We want to be a partner in your journey of parenting!

Reformed Parent Fellowship is a space set apart for parents to thoughtfully engage with the rich calling Scripture places upon us in the work of raising children. It is a place to be equipped with biblical wisdom, to walk alongside one another in friendship and fellowship, and to find encouragement for the wonderful—and often wearying—journey of parenting. Whether you are expecting your first child or navigating life as an empty nester, we invite you to join us for evenings of worship, prayer, meaningful conversation, and shared learning with others in the family of God.
