DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Churchwide Tailgate and Turkey Bowl! We’ll have a time of food and fellowship after Sunday School from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The entire church is invited to a potluck-style tailgate on the Breezeway with BBQ and burgers provided. Once you’ve registered below\, families with last names A-N are encouraged to bring a side dish and last names O-Z are encouraged to bring a dessert.\n\nTurkey Bowl MMXXV will be held on the CPA Soccer Field with games beginning around 12:30 p.m. and ending by 2:30 p.m. Everyone from 1st grade to 12th grade\, college\, young adults\, and beyond\, are invited to join a team for this flag football tournament! Teams will be pre-assigned with mixed ages and a focus on fun and safety. DESCRIPTION:CPC101 for Old Hickory Blvd is an informative and interactive 10-week session (during the Sunday School hour\, 10:30-11:20 a.m.\, March 8 through April 26\, 2026) that walks you through our church mission/vision/values\, the Presbyterian faith\, and is the first step in our membership process. Our facilitators lead adults through lessons supported by our CPC101 workbook\, which you’ll receive a copy of upon arrival. Membership is not required once you complete CPC101\, but for those wishing to become members\, participation in CPC101 is a prerequisite. Information on our membership process and baptism can be found here. \nThis session will have 8 weeks of content\, with 2 weeks available to schedule and experience an elder interview for those wishing to become members. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Good Friday tenebrae family worship service with Scripture\, hymns\, candlelight\, and communion. \nOur adult choir with expanded orchestra will lead an all-church family worship as we observe the crucifixion of Jesus through the ancient service of Tenebrae\, a Latin word for “darkness” or “shadows.” Originating in medieval monasteries before becoming a cornerstone of Holy Week for the church\, this tradition connects us with generations of believers worldwide. \nThrough Scripture and somber music\, we will follow the story of Jesus’ final hours detailing His arrest\, trial\, and death as we enter the drama of this holy day. As the room grows darker with each reading\, the increasing shadows represent the weight of Christ’s suffering\, leading us into a powerful time of communion and silent reflection on His sacrifice. \nThis is more than a worship service; it is a meditation.
