DESCRIPTION:“Hymns in Praise of the Cross” is a choral-orchestral performance of Anton Bruckner’s “Te Deum in C” and a collection of modern hymns by Keith & Kristyn Getty titled “The Power of the Cross” arranged and orchestrated by David Hamilton. Offered in worship and gratitude\, this powerful performance will feature approximately 100 singers from Christ Presbyterian Church and Trevecca Nazarene University and 45 of the most premiere orchestral musicians in Nashville. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters has entertained and enlightened readers the world over with its sly and ironic portrayal of human life and foibles from the unique vantage point of Screwtape\, a highly placed assistant to “Our Father Below.” At once wildly comic\, deadly serious\, and strikingly original\, C.S.
