DESCRIPTION:City Serve Day for Kids/Students and families has now been combined with the churchwide Chili Cook-off Kickoff on Wednesday\, Jan. 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. \nEveryone is encouraged to RSVP and join us for plenty of warm chili\, grilled cheese sandwiches for kids\, fellowship and encouragement\, and an opportunity to help us fill 500 five-gallon buckets with hurricane-recovery supplies in coordination with Mission to North America (MNA) Disaster Relief. \nChildcare will be provided for children ages three (3) and under. \nRSVP here. \n  \nLearn more about our Wednesday Nights programming and offerings at christpres.org/wednesdays.

DESCRIPTION:A group of bewildered apostles stood gazing toward heaven as their Savior ascended from their sight. Jesus charged them with spreading the gospel to the earth’s four corners and starting the Church as we know it. How did they do it? The book of Acts details the Church’s early frontier as the apostles went from bewildered to empowered by the Holy Spirit—and the Church went out. Join pastors David Filson and Lee Eric Fesko as they walk us through the earliest years of the Christian Church in The Acts of the Apostles and how those acts give us definition\, meaning\, and structure for the Church of today. We’ll meet every Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall beginning January 22. \nRSVP here.

DESCRIPTION:Adult and Kids Choirs are restarting for the Winter/Spring beginning January 22! \nAll adults are welcome! No audition or experience needed – just drop by and check it out – if you have a heart to sing\, please join us. We meet weekly in the Choir Room located behind the Sanctuary from 6:30-8 p.m. \nKids Choir is for grades K-5 and meets weekly 6:30-7:30 p.m. No prior music training is required – just bring a heart to sing. Plus\, there are opportunities for parents and older teens to volunteer.
