You are the Light of the World

Most agree the world is a broken place with many sorrows to contend with. Poverty, violence, child neglect and abuse, fragmented families and friendships, addiction, anxiety, depression, and other maladies are as common as ever. As it says in Romans, “all of creation groans‚Ķand we also groan” (Romans 8). According to Scripture, God is at work to heal and renew the world-to love people, places and things to life-and the chief medium through which he does this work is his church.
