David Ferriss III

David joined the Christ Presbyterian staff in July 2025, but has been a member of the church since 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Delta State University and a Master of Sport Administration from Belmont University, and his favorite part of his role is meeting people where they are, learning their stories, and sharing the hope we have in Christ. David is married to Mary Elizabeth and they have two children, Paxton and Mary Meadow. His favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (ESV):

 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
