Joy Alms

Joy joined the Christ Presbyterian Church staff in June 2008. She and her husband, Gary, have been members of the church since 1992 and have 5 children, 2 children-in-law, and 1 grandchild. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Taylor University. Joy finds great joy in working with her Kids Ministry team and ministering to moms and kids. She loves creating a welcoming and nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:8 (ESV): 

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—ponder these things.”
