Scott joined the Christ Presbyterian Church staff in January 2026. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Rhetoric) from Wheaton College and is pursuing a Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. He says of his role, “I most enjoy helping others grow in their walk with Jesus Christ. Whether it be helping our session better connect to our congregation, taking homebound members communion, or organizing volunteers on Sunday – it all points to the founder and perfecter of our faith. Discipleship drives devotion.” His favorite verse is Romans 8:28 (ESV):
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
