However\, we desire all students to have the opportunity to participate. So if cost might be an issue please contact Mac Purdy for scholarship opportunities. And we hope to have the bus loaded and on our way by 11:30 a.m.\nPizza will be provided for lunch. \nWe will plan to depart SoundWaves at 5:30 p.m. for Neffs’ house.\nAround 6:15 p.m. we should be arriving at the Neffs’ home for pickup. If your student wishes to stick around\, we would love to have them stay for our summer house hang at that same address.\n\nPacking List: \n\nSwimsuit\nTowel \nSunscreen \nChange of clothes\n\nParents\, we would love for some of you to join us! There is a spot in the form to sign up if you would be willing to join us as a chaperone. Perhaps also a space to discuss the threads of God’s providence through a good book and in our own life? \nIf so\, join our two-month Women’s Summer Book Club as we read and discuss A Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis. Whether you are reading it for the first time or the second\, you’ll want to read it with both a child-like innocence and an adult wisdom. What you discover may surprise you! \nTues.\, May 16 Kickoff Gathering: We’ll begin by gathering on the Breezeway for a bite to eat (think cheese and crackers\, fruit\, a summer drink)\, take a look at what the Bible says about God’s providence\, and engage in table conversations around what that looks like. Books will be available to purchase for $8.00 from Logos Bookstore.  \nSummer Reading Period: Table groups will be encouraged to stay connected throughout May and June as time permits for encouragement\, discussion\, and accountability. \nTues.\, June 20 Wrap Up Gathering: We’ll gather again on the Breezeway to share in small group settings what we learned from reading A Horse and His Boy.
