Youth Ministry
at Cool Springs
Helping Middle and High School Students Walk with Jesus, Connect Deeply, and Find Their Calling
Helping students (Grades 6-12) follow Christ by creating opportunities to Worship, Encourage, and Serve.
Youth Learning Group
Meets year-round on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. in Nate Evans' Office, Room 101.
This Fall and Spring (August 17 - March 1), we will begin a new series journeying through a book which makes the theological tenets of our faith accessible & applicable, called “Faith Simplified: What We Believe and Why We Believe It” by Aaron Armstrong.
- It's our hope that in digging into what Scripture tells us about who God is (orthodoxy), we would not just not know about God abstractly, but by the Lord’s grace, we would know God personally, and be transformed by the renewing of our minds [Romans 12:2], putting our faith into practice (orthopraxy). “Christian beliefs shape the Christian heart and the Christian life” (Armstrong, 21).
- No preparation needed, just show up!
- Parents, click HERE to get a copy of “Faith Simplified” if you’d like to follow along with us!
March 15-May 17
- How can I grow closer in my relationship with Jesus?
- To finish out the spring semester, we will discuss biblical "rhythms of grace" (spiritual practices) by which the LORD forms us and helps us experience his goodness and presence with us.
Youth Learning Groups will not meet October 5th (Fall Break), December 21 & 28 (Winter Break), March 8 (Spring Break), and April 5 (Easter).
Youth Group
