Buz joined the staff of Christ Presbyterian Church in November 2000, but became a member of the church in 1981. He is married to his wife, Jeanne Ellen, and they have two daughters, Beth and Leigh. Dr. David Owen Filson has served on staff since 2010, and is now the Interim Senior Pastor for the church and Head of Spiritual Life for Christ Presbyterian Academy. David also serves as President’s Professor of Apologetics and Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, where he completed his PhD in Historical and Theological Studies
