The Psalms, the hymnbook of the people of God, are filled with allusions to the life, ministry, and Lordship of Jesus. These foreshadowings gave the people in the Old Testament a vision for what to anticipate in the coming of the Messiah, and we as the church today have the blessing of hindsight to see how Jesus is described in these ancient poems.
